Patient Charter - what you can expect from us

  1. We will do our best to ensure that the telephone is answered quickly and efficiently
  2. Practice staff will aim to be helpful and courteous
  3. We always welcome New Patients and will endeavour to answer questions promptly
  4. We aim to see patients within fifteen minutes of their appointment time
  5. In the event of unavoidable delay, patients will be kept informed
  6. We endeavour to offer you routine appointments with the doctor or nurse within 1 to 2 working days (but it may not always be possible to see the doctor of your choice within this time)
  7. Home visit requests will be available for those who are too ill to attend surgery
  8. Urgent calls will be responded to as quickly as possible
  9. Visit requests received before 10.30am will be completed on the same day not before 2pm. 
  10. Time will be available at the end of morning and evening surgery
    for patients wishing to speak to the doctor or nurse for telephone advice
  11. For out of hours emergencies please contact MEDICOM on 01603 488488
  12. Referral letters and private medical reports will be completed within five working days
  13. Repeat prescriptions can be collected from 4.00pm the day following request
  14. Your visit to the surgery will be treated confidentially
