Services provided by the practice

The following services are provided in addition to general medical services:
  • Maternity care including antenatal and postnatal
  • Child health surveillance
  • Family Planning - IUCD / Nexplanon fitting
  • Minor surgery
  • Phlebotomy (blood tests) are available at the surgery on Mon and Thursday mornings.
  • Third party medical examinations, Taxi driver, HGV, Insurance and pre-employment medicals
  • Travel advice: If you are travelling to a foreign country and would like travel advice, you need to collect a Travel Risk assessment form from the surgery. Fill in all the details and then hand back to reception who will then pass the form to the Nurse who will look at your notes and see whether you require any injections. Reception will then call you and book an appointment.

     



Non-English Speakers

The practice uses Language Line, a telephone translation service for use during a consultation, in order to better communicate with non-English speaking patients.





Services for the Deaf

We have access to interpretive services for deaf patients.

  • Dietary advice 
  • Chiropody based on medical need
